New Mexico Legal Aid Helps People in Need

New Mexico Legal Aid aims to improve justice and reduce poverty in the State of New Mexico. The organization provides free legal services to individuals and families who are otherwise unable to afford legal services.

Much of the organization’s work centers on issues related to families and housing. It operates a foreclosure defense project, meant to protect families who are in danger of losing their homes. Special protections are also available for migrant workers, who often lack access to legal support.
